I’m a MSN, APRN, CPNP… a mom, pediatric nurse practitioner, and the founder of Beyond Roots. With more than 15 years of nursing experience, I’m honored to support your family through every stage of your child’s growth. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, I relocated to Charlotte in 2024, bringing with me the values, cultural grounding, and community-centered spirit that shaped my life and my approach to care.

My clinical background spans adult critical care, the NICU, community health, and foster care, experiences that reinforced a core truth: children thrive when their care is unrushed, relationship-centered, and grounded in compassion.

I am also the mother of an extraordinary 11-year-old son who is my world. Navigating life on the Autism Spectrum with him has profoundly shaped who I am as both a mother and a provider. Trust, safety, advocacy, and partnership are not abstract concepts to me but they are lived experiences. I understand what it means to be on both sides of the healthcare journey, and that dual perspective strengthens my empathy, my clarity, and my commitment to showing up for families with intention and respect. With me by your family's side, we can do this together.

Beyond Roots, PLLC is named in honor of my late father, “BRP” whose love and guidance provided the foundation for who I am today. His legacy is woven into this practice and into my belief that children grow best in environments that honor their identity, their culture, and their family's story.
